By all means, yes. Our job is to provide you with the data you need to get the insights you want. So, we’ll provide you a list of the data we collect and see which you want and how.
Do you offer cross-client insights?
Yes, for sensitive data, you’ll need the permission of the client. For general, anonymized data, you’ll be provided an API.
How can we access the data?
Yes, There’s a section of the dashboard that allows you to specify the date range as well as which data you’d like to download.
Can I specify which elements to test, with whom, and when?
Yes. To do this, you’ll need to provide the conditions and what you want displayed and we’ll make sure to test it when and how you want.
If there’s coding required to add or change elements, who’s responsible?
If possible, we prefer to code the additional elements. This increases the efficiency as we understand how to change the element in future testing.
How quickly can I expect results?
The dashboard is updated daily. Therefore, you’ll start seeing results the first day. In terms of automations, those appear when we find that certain buying and demographic patterns are significant. Two factors go into the determination of significance, number and diversity of sessions. A greater number of diverse sessions allows us to more quickly operationalize significant patterns.
What data is collected?
Transport Learning tracks unique user visits, session duration, user clicks/taps, user searches, visibility, and scrolls.
Will this software hinder the performance of my site?
No. The code is composed of event listeners that post to Transport Learning’s servers. No extraneous processing on the users’ browsers or your servers.
How long does it take to start working?
Immediately. Once installed, data is sent to our servers automatically.
Do we have to do anything other than install this software?
Usually no. However, depending on the implementation of your website, we may need to customize the tag to collect the data we need.
What information do you need from us?
We need the messages (and creative) you are sending and have sent, if and how the users engaged with the message, and the on-site behaviors of those users that returned to your site.
How do we integrate our retention data into TUP?
You can either upload a CSV to our servers or give us the necessary API keys to integrate with whichever platform you’re using.
Do you offer a service to create triggers and/or notification algorithms?
Currently, we only offer prescriptive analytics–predicting which UI/UX elements and copy will not only get users to return to your site, but also convert.
How do you track individual visitor’s information?
We assign each visitor to your site an ID. Then, we track that user’s behaviors (scrolls, clicks and paths) as well as add cookies on to the user’s browser.
While using your platform, can I carry out UI/UX tests without the help of my technical team?
Yes. As the testing process is automated, you’ll just need to let us know which elements/variables you’d like to test and those ranges. This can happen at anytime, no tech teams required.
Is form optimization a key part of your CRO efforts?
We change how forms are displayed. We do not change forms or their elements.
Does ad blocking also block TUP e-comm?
Yes, all software that blocks Google Tag Manager also blocks TUP e-comm.
What happens if something goes wrong with automation?
If the files we load onto the user’s browser do not load fully and correctly, the default site is displayed. There’s never a time during which there will be partial deployment. If any other problem arises, reach out to your sales contact and the problem will be solved within 24 hours and within an hour if an emergency.
How do the multivariate tests work?
Our machine learning model tracks the behaviors, demographics and time of day of your site’s visitors and systematically and automatically determines UX/UI changes for each visitor.
What development work is required when partnering with TUP? (i.e code changes, platform changes, additional API’s, etc.)
Is there a limit on the number of variables we can test at once?
No. You can test as many variables are you’d like. However, it’s important to understand that the greater number of variables tested requires a greater number of visitors to validate the results.
Do you offer mobile optimization?
Yes. The UX/UI changes implemented distinguish between mobile and desktop. Therefore, by default, you’ll understand which mobile changes are best.
What behavioral data are you collecting and how does that help increase conversion rates?
We collect scrolls (direction and length), clicks/taps (x,y position, links, and the corresponding UX/UI elements), tab visibility, and paths. This data, combined with demographic, source, and weather data, provides a user pattern that we match to the UX/UI elements associated with higher conversion rates.
What type of security and compliance measures do you provide?
We do not collect any personal information about the visitors to your site (email addresses, addresses, credit card numbers, etc.). Therefore, there’s no way to identify the identity of the visitors.
How do you allocate traffic on the site?
Traffic is allocated based upon the patterns displayed within the first 0-45 seconds of the visitors’ landing on your site. Our machine learning models sorts according to these pattens.
What happens when cookies are disabled? Will it compromise and or affect data collection?
When cookies are disabled, the user will experience the site as designed. In terms of data, we will not be able to identify the user across platforms or identify if the user is a returning user.
